Ken-Tex Energy Corp. is a Dallas, TX based independent oil and gas exploration and production company focused on proven, well developed oil and gas basins in the United States that support repeatable drilling opportunities.

The Company is engaged in the operation and development of its principal reserves located within over 20,000 drillable acres in the Texas counties of Angelina, Jasper and San Augustine.

We are currently focusing on an aggressive re-entry lateral drilling program within the Austin Chalk formation of the Brookeland Field. The re-entries will be supplemented with infield drilling for proved undeveloped reserves. The program spudded in late August 2007 and is expected to continue into 2008 and beyond.
